Die-Cutting - Customised Die-Cut-Parts - adhesive and non adhesive
CMC Klebetechnik produces die-cut parts from well over 300 different film-like materials. The very extensive machine park makes it possible to realize economical production from the smallest quantities up to several million pieces. We specialize in technically demanding, high-quality materials such as polyester film, Nomex®, Kapton®, metal foils such as copper and aluminum or corresponding laminates made from them.
The customer has the advantage that, on the one hand, he speaks to a competent partner in matters of die-cutting, who also supports him with the product selection. If a special material does not yet exist, it is often possible to find a solution by developing your own combination of film and coating. CMC Klebetechnik offers the entire vertical range of manufacture, from material procurement through coating and slitting to die-cutting.
Adhesive die-cutted parts are ubiquitous in our daily life. Manufacturers often have to think about how to connect different materials with one another, install precisely fitting insulation in electrical devices and cover sensitive surfaces. All of these applications can be simplified by using die-cut parts in manufacture. Because punched parts are a perfect fit, always dosed in the same way and save assembly time.
CMC Klebetechnik manufactures on over a dozen different punching machines for customer-specific solutions. We have the machine technology, the experience with hundreds of different materials and the personnel to offer you a suitable solution. The materials used are not limited to our own products. We also manufacture as a contract service provider from your provided material. We use our own materials or films, fabrics or fleeces specified by the customer. Stroke punching machines, rotary punching machines, cutting plotters or sheeter and laminators enable the economical production of small and large series.
Benefits
-
film die-cut parts can make manufacturing processes faster, cheaper and easier
-
Stamped parts are pre-formed, precisely dosed, do not generate waste and save assembly work
-
individual die-cut parts are already tailored to meet requirements
-
Recesses enable precise fixation
-
Folds an adaptation to the required geometry
-
Adhesive surfaces a fixation of the die-cut part
We have all the options to economically manufacture molded parts from 1 to very large numbers. The material thickness can be between 5 µm (foils) and about 3 mm (plates) depending on the material.
Shaped die-cut parts
Significant savings in terms of material and assembly time can be achieved by using self-adhesive punched parts in a range of assembly processes. We manufacture shaped punched parts from all film-like materials to meet your specifications – on rolls, as sheets and as individual parts. Aids such as tabs and butterfly folds are possible. We punch a wide range of materials in-house. We produce between 100 and 10 million punched parts to your specifications – from postage-stamp size to about 500 x 500 mm.
Technical options:
- Rotary die-cutting machines for large series
- Flat-bed die-cutting machines for parts from just a few mm² up to approx. 0.3 m²
- Cutting plotters up to 2.500 x 2.000 mm
- Printing mechanisms for UV paint
- Laminating, cutting to length, folding
- 3D shaped punched parts, individually manufactured punched parts
- Contract die-cutting
Tools
We use various tools to produce die-cut parts.
In the easiest case, something called a steel-strip tool can be used. In principle, the tool consists of a plywood panel into which the steel strip blade and the punch are set. Accuracies of up to +/- 0,2 mm can be achieved and medium-sized batches of up to 200,000 parts are possible.
Full cut tools are used when a longer tool life (number of punched parts) is necessary, greater precision is needed or e.g. 3D cuts or punches in hard materials are required. These tools, some of which are very heavy and have complex cutting edges/shapes, often cost a few thousand euros. We punch all of the materials made in house, along with many other products, in accordance with your drawings.
Our modern cutting plotter is used for very large parts. Cuts up to 2.500 x 2.000 mm can be made on it (larger formats on request). We will be happy to advise you on your choice of materials. Cheaper alternatives are often available.
