Adhesive tapes for thermal class E - up to a continuous temperature of 120°C

Adhesive tapes made of acetate silk fabric or crepe, for example, are made of electrolytically inert adhesives that are resistant to ageing. These adhesive tapes withstand temperatures of approx. -20 °C to 120 °C in continuous operation. Many of the adhesive tapes are UL-listed and are included in insulation systems. They are suitable for applications in transformers, coils, electric motors, windings, and much more.

Data on breakdown voltage are always applied at an perating frequency of 50/60 Hz. At higher frequencies, the voltage resistance is reduced depending on the material.
